LISTEN LIST
ECOSSAISE
Our version is just the melody for beginners and played not as fast as it is intended. This version is played faster and with dynamic changes. Students who want to play faster and with more expression may try to imitate this performance. It is also a good example of how to bow before and after when playing in a performance.
TWO MELODIES
"Two Melodies: Contrary" (M4) is actually a portion of a piece called, "The Little Hedgehog" (E5) by Dmitri Kabalevsky. Notice the player lifting her whole arm tapping on every note to imitate the "prickly" spins of a hedgehog.
