FOLK DANCE
Folk dances are just like folk songs. They originate in different countries, and then become know around the world. This video shows children dancing a traditional German folk dance dressed in their traditional costumes. These children are actually from Germany so you won't be able to understand what they are saying because they are speaking in the German language. However, you can understand the music and the dancing. Music and dancing are universal. That means that everyone around the world can understand and enjoy music and dancing the same way without translation. Enjoy!

CHIAPANECAS
This piece is called "Chiapanecas" in your Repertoire section, R13. In the video it is played on the marimba. A marimba is arranged like the keys of a piano and made out of wooden bars that are struck by a mallet. If you play the piano, you could read music for the marimba.
